Coming Friday, 19 november, there will be an open meeting of Greece Is Everywhere, an initiative of active people taking action in a directly democratic way, against austerity, exploitation and oppression, for a world in which human needs are central. In the meeting, we will look back upon earlier activities and make plans for new actions. The meeting is public, so if you want to take part in any way, feel welcome:

The next open meeting of Greece Is Everywhere will be held on Friday, 29th of Oktober, 19.00 at the Social Centre ‘Toekomstvisie‘, Utrecht, Wittevrouwensingel 76.

You are invited to join us in helping to organise resistance against the austerity measures of the right-wing Dutch government.

The next open meeting of Greece Is Everywhere will be held on Friday, 24th of September, 18.00 in Social Centre ‘Toekomstvisie’, Utrecht, Wittevrouwensingel 76.
You are invited to join us in helping to organise resistance against the crisis/austerity-measures and cuts. Greece is Everywhere is a seperate initiative next to Rekening Retour (where we also participate within, albeit not uncritically).

Griekenland is overal nodigt bij deze iedereen uit om op onze volgende vergadering te komen. Wij zullen hier de toekomst van onze groep bespreken, en bediscussiëren wat de beste manier is om de komende maanden het rechtse offensief tegen te gaan. Tot nu toe hebben wij twee demonstraties georganiseerd, één bij de Griekse ambassade, één in Amsterdam op 17 juli, beiden uit solidariteit met de strijd in Griekenland, maar vooral ook om de strijd in Nederland te voeren.

Greece  Is Everywhere invites everybody to be on our next meeting. Here, we will discuss the future of our group. Moreover, we will discuss  what is the best way to counter the right wing offensive. Up to now, we have organised two demonstrations, one at the Greek  embassy, one in Amstersdam on July 17th, both in solidarity with the struggle in Greece but most of all to fight the struggle in the Netherlands.

Everyone, who wants to connect to the struggle in Greece with the struggle against the coming austerity measures in the Netherlands is more than welcome. We aim to put a halt to the all-present exploitation and oppression, and we don’t compromise with the government’s tactics of seduction!

We think resistance is more than necessary in a time when the media hustles about fears of a ‘double dip’ in economy and the next government will probably be one of the most right-wing governments in the parliamentary history of the Netherlands (even if the PVV will not join it).
